OUR STORY

Our Family Business

Tiling has been part of Ben’s life for as long as he can remember. Growing up on job sites alongside his dad, Darb, he learned the trade hands-on from a young age. Ben later completed his apprenticeship working with his father and spent years running his own projects.

Together, Ben and his wife Maddie turned that experience into Darben Tiling, a family business built on two generations of knowledge, skill and pride in the trade.

Today, Ben leads the team on site while Maddie helps keep everything running behind the scenes. Their shared commitment has shaped Darben Tiling into the trusted local business it is today.

Now raising their two children on acreage, Ben and Maddie are proud to serve homeowners, builders and designers across the Sunshine Coast.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Quality of work second to none. From the professional quote highlighting all aspects of work to the final clean up. The whole job went smoothly. The team turned up when they said they would, were respectful and confirmed decisions previously made to ensure everything was correct. Cannot speak highly enough about Ben and the team working here, Floyd and Lachie

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. As a Bathroom Builder on the Sunshine Coast, it’s bloody hard to find tilers who aren’t just “good enough” but actually get so good at their trade that it becomes their craft.
When someone hits that level, demand follows and the real challenge is building a team that can hold that line.

Darben Tiling has genuinely lifted the standard on the Coast.
Not only is the workmanship top tier, but he’s managed to put together a crew who set that same standard on every job.
If you’re lucky enough to get Darben Tiling on your project, you’ll see exactly what I mean.
Highly recommend!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently worked with Darben Tiling on a project in Kawana Island, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. As an interior designer, I really value working with trades who not only understand the vision but also deliver exceptional craftsmanship—and Darben Tiling absolutely delivered.

Their team was incredibly proficient, with an eye for detail and a commitment to excellence that showed in every aspect of the finished work. They completed the project right on time, which is such a relief when coordinating with multiple trades.

Their admin team was super friendly and communicative, making the whole process seamless from start to finish. I’d highly recommend Darben Tiling to anyone who wants quality tiling work and a great experience all around.

Thank you for making this project such a success!

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Ben and his team have done a fantastic job of my bathroom tiles. Ben is meticulous from the get go ensuring all preparations were spot on. I chose a mosaic penny round tile for a floor which requires perfect preparation and expertise. Not a job for just any tiler.. No stone was left unturned, everything had to be perfect clearly honoring the reputation they uphold. Ben really knows his stuff and is the best in the business. I had 2 different people recommend Darben Tiling and I'm wrapped I trusted their advice. Many thanks to all the team coming and going who showed respect and courtesy around the home.
